Our guidelines

1. It's about building stuff.

Spacehive is here to help you build or improve physical things. Projects must deliver something tangible that people can see - and probably touch.

2. So no causes.

You can't use Spacehive to fund ongoing causes. Examples of causes would be raising money to pay for the running costs of a community centre or to top up a maintenance budget. These are important things but it's not what our service is designed to do, and there are other funding platforms out there that can help you with this.

3. And only public spaces.

Spacehive is for funding capital projects that improve publicly-accessible spaces that everyone can visit. So if it's not a public space, the public must have access to it.
