The Outdoor Kitchen Project is a campaign to bring vibrant community kitchens to our streets and parks! Designed by Britain's best young architectural practices, they're simple, fun and affordable additions to our public spaces, that provide places for us to meet and socialise. Tasty!
Tea with an Architect is an initiative which aims to bring the local community and their architects together over cups of tea. Thus giving the opportunity for architects to develop community relationships/promote design services, by providing the prospect for regional/neighbourhood improvement projects to occur.
A new grant of £897,940 from the Office for Civil Society will fund an ‘All Ages’ CSC volunteering programme providing 2,700 new volunteer opportunities for adults to work jointly with young people between April 2012 – March 2013. CSC All Ages will be delivered by 15 projects in communities up and down the country!
